Apply to Exposition of Latvian School Information Technologies - LatSTE 2015!

We invite you to participate in the Exposition of Latvian School Information Technologies – LatSTE 2015 which will take place in Ķegums on 29th and 30th October. The aim of the exposition is to introduce the representatives of educational institutions and enterprises to the topicalities, newest tendencies and researches in the field of education as well as to meet the challenges for the upcoming years.
This is the 18th time when the annual conference of LatSTE will take place.
This is one of the most important events in the field of Latvian school information technologies, and the place for all involved parties that are connected to education to establish cooperation and share the experience on implemented projects and novelties in the field of educational technologies.
Modern Technologies as such don’t cause the development, it is possible only then, if there are people who use them thus enlightening and making work more effective.

How to apply:

• Workshop leaders should apply till the end of September on www.latste.lv by filling in a registration form in section WORKSHOPS
• to apply as the speaker in the plenary session, contact the organizers of LatSTE 2015. Contact details on www.latste.lv in section ORGANIZERS
• to get more information about the participation in exhibition hall, go to section EXIBITION HALL
• The registration for participants will start at the beginning of October by filling in a registration form in section REGISTRATION

Currently it is clear that LatSTE will also be organised in future and will return to the regions outside Riga. In 2015 LatSTE will be organised in a previously accustomed 2 day format!

LatSTE’2015 – will be held at Kegums Commercial Secondary School during school autumn holidays – on 29th and 30th October!

We truly appeal to start preparing for the event of 2015 and in due time get ready for workshops by preparing and announcing your themes to the organizers! Besides, everyone is invited to prepare the booth presentations where it is possible to display posters, demonstrations, models, show presentations, computer programmes, teaching aids etc. We invite lecturers to announce and prepare materials for plenary session presentations in advance! We appeal to IT companies to offer presentations, ready-made products, ideas for LatSTE Days and the materials for advertisement on LatSTE website the whole preparation time.

The basic principle of LatSTE is still in full force and effect – LatSTE is the event about the usage of IT in all fields of education. It is the event for different educational institutions, for the teachers teaching all sorts of subjects, lecturers, school administration members, city council members and everyone who is interested in the possibilities of using IT for diversification of education process and raising qualification.
